For over 25 years – from Afghan Hounds and Australian Sheperds to now the big poodle – Gem Crest Kennel has taken the best care of our pets while on Holiday. The staff is so easy to work with (professional, knowledgeable, courteous...). You know they are good when your pet is happy to go back! I do highly recommend this kennel.

Our family has been taking our dogs to Mona's 'Gem Crest Kennels' since the mid '70's. I think the best way to recommend this facility is to let our dogs do it. We have never had a dog, and we have had 10 dogs over the years, that showed any hesitation at the door. They all have been happy to go in whether it was for boarding or grooming. They have all seemed excited to be around the staff and yes they are always jumping with joy when we pick them up. The staff is very professional and pays attention to details like feeding, medication and special care. Having a grooming operation on site is a real asset. We can pick up the dogs after a boarding trimmed and washed. We highly recommend 'Gem Crest Kennels'.

Our experience in working with the staff at Gem Crest Kennels has been nothing but tremendous. We have used Gem Crest several times every year for the last ten years and have been so appreciative of their treatment and care of our Jack Russell Terrier, Kelsey. Each time we walk in the front door of the kennel Kelsey is greeted by the staff with loves and a pet name they have given her. She is full of kisses for whomever is there to greet her. My dog, Maggie, has been going to Gem Crest Kennels for many years. She always arrives with her tail wagging and no matter if it is an overnight or a two week stay she always greets me still wagging her tail. The staff makes sure her kennel is clean and she gets exercised in the play yard. They also feed her on her home eating schedule and give her medications on time. So she comes home on the same basic routine she left home with. It’s great! The staff is professional, friendly and they give my Maggie a lot of TLC. I couldn’t ask for better care.
